Poladoodles by lilacmoon studio: “Fluff” (Nerd Out image 1 of 5)

Hello~! My name is Jinnie and I live in San Francisco. Welcome to my little corner of the Internet where I showcase my latest creations.

So what exactly are Poladoodles, you ask? The idea formed when I started exercising spontaneous drawing and found that I had a bunch of less than perfect Polaroid shots that I couldn’t let go to waste. Each of these photographs became a tiny canvas for me to doodle, and Poladoodles were born! Since then my doodles have been mentioned on sites like Maditi Likes, PoppyTalk, Design*Sponge Apartment Therapy, and port2port.

My work is inspired by nature, patterns and playful shapes. Most of my Polaroids that you see here use Spectra film. The narrower Polaroids (e.g. “Unit Cells”) are those I shot on 600 film. You'll also notice that a few photographs were graciously donated by rebeccamissing in support of my Poladoodle crafting. Thanks rebeccamissing!
